Bullish on NIFTY || 20th Aug || NIFTY Analysis
As I write today’s update (20th Aug), my view on NIFTY remains clearly bullish. Based on the current price action, I am expecting a positive move in the coming sessions. However, one should keep in mind that NIFTY may face resistance near the swing high zone of 25,700.

I am holding a Bullish view on NIFTY on a positional basis.

Support Zone: 25015–25025 (marked as Green Line – S1 in the chart).

Immediate Resistance: 25145, which comes from today’s first 15-min candle (Open = High).
In the coming session, price action near 25145 will be crucial for short-term momentum. Sustaining above this level could open the way for further upside, while 25015–25025 will act as strong positional support.

Today, NIFTY closed well below its important support zone of 25020, which I had highlighted earlier. However, on higher timeframes, there is no major distortion in the overall trend. I continue to maintain my bullish stance on NIFTY and have not created any short positions for hedging purposes.

Today NIFTY opened gap-up taking positive cues from US market updates. On technical grounds, I remain positive on NIFTY as already discussed in my previous post.
On a trading day like today, the opening is secondary—what matters more is how the market reacts to key levels. We observed strong buying at lower levels, and interestingly, S-1 (which was breached on Friday) perfectly worked as resistance today.
For now, I will be closely watching two crucial levels: 25020 and 25145.
➡️ Real strength in NIFTY will only be visible once we get a closing above these two levels.

आज NIFTY ने gap-up opening की US market updates के positive cues से. Technical basis पर मेरा view NIFTY में अभी भी positive है जैसा मैंने अपने पिछले post में discuss किया था।
ऐसे trading दिन में opening इतनी important नहीं होती, असली बात यह है कि market levels पर कैसे react करता है। आज हमने lower levels पर buying देखी और interesting बात यह रही कि S-1 (जो Friday को breach हुआ था) आज perfectly resistance की तरह काम किया।
अभी के लिए मैं दो important levels 25020 और 25145 पर focus करूँगा।
➡️ NIFTY में असली strength तभी दिखेगी जब closing इन दोनों levels के ऊपर मिलेगी।

Today it was a gap down opening, and NIFTY remained under pressure throughout the session, finally closing on a weaker note.
However, I am still carrying my bullish view on the broader market (since 20 Aug onwards) and have created no short position in NIFTY for hedging purposes against my long trades.

I am currently carrying no position in NIFTY for hedging purposes, as I continue to remain bullish on the broader market (since Aug 20 onwards).
In today’s session, NIFTY respected its important support zone and witnessed a bounce from that level. Going forward, I will be keenly watching the gap zone created on Aug 26, as it may act as a crucial technical reference point for upcoming moves.

I am continuing with my bullish view on the broader market (20 Aug onwards) and hence not carrying any short position in NIFTY for hedging purposes.
Today’s session was quite volatile. In the first half, NIFTY showed strong momentum, while in the second half, the index came under pressure, leading to a choppy close.

I am bullish on the broader market (Aug 20 onwards) and carrying no short position in NIFTY to hedge my long trades.
As discussed yesterday, 24635 was immediate resistance. During today’s trading session, NIFTY rejected this level multiple times but finally managed to close above 24635. This breakout above resistance is a strong positive sign, reflecting market strength.
मैं broader market पर bullish हूँ (20 अगस्त से onwards) और अपनी long position को hedge करने के लिए NIFTY में कोई short position carry नहीं कर रहा हूँ।
जैसा कि कल discuss किया था, 24635 immediate resistance था। आज के session में NIFTY ने इस level को कई बार reject किया लेकिन आखिरकार 24635 के ऊपर close किया। ये एक मजबूती का संकेत है और market strength को दर्शाता है।

As expected, today was a day of consolidation. NIFTY failed to breach the 25200 level, and it doesn’t look possible tomorrow (Expiry day). However, NIFTY remains on the verge of a major breakout above 25150. The higher the consolidation, the better it is for the Index.
जैसा उम्मीद थी, आज का दिन consolidation का रहा। NIFTY 25200 level को breach नहीं कर पाया और कल (Expiry day) भी इसकी संभावना कम दिख रही है। लेकिन NIFTY अभी भी 25150 के ऊपर major breakout के कगार पर है। जितना ज़्यादा consolidation होगा, Index के लिए उतना ही अच्छा रहेगा।

I am having a bullish view on the broader market (20 Aug onwards) and carrying no short position in NIFTY for hedging purposes.
As discussed yesterday, I was expecting a pause in NIFTY around 25350, and today the market rewarded this view. NIFTY failed to breach 25350, confirming the immediate resistance zone.
One day before the major event (US Fed meeting), it is quite possible that the index chose to pause near resistance, reflecting caution among market participants.
Going forward, sustaining above 25350 will be the key for the next leg of the rally. Till then, expect consolidation with stock-specific moves.

It’s better for the index to spend some more time in this zone – the higher the consolidation, the more reliable the breakout will be.
Such a breakout will ultimately push NIFTY towards a new Lifetime High.

I am having a bullish view on the broader market (20 Aug onwards) and carrying no short position in NIFTY for hedging purposes.
NIFTY has broken the R-1 level of 25150, but at the same time, it respected the S-1 support at 25025.
This shows that the 25025 level is currently acting as a strong cushion for the index.
Going forward, if NIFTY decisively breaks below S-1 (25025), it may trigger further downside momentum. In such a scenario, short positions can be considered.
NIFTY ने R-1 (25150) को तोड़ दिया है, लेकिन S-1 (25025) को अच्छे से respect किया है।

Today, NIFTY finally broke the crucial support level of 25025. I have squared off all my long positions that were either near the purchase price or showing profits. From this point onward, my view has turned bearish, and I am carrying aggressive short positions in NIFTY.
At the same time, I am still holding on to a few long positions selectively.
आज NIFTY ने आखिरकार 25025 का अहम सपोर्ट तोड़ दिया है। मैंने अपनी सारी long positions cover कर ली हैं जो या तो purchase price के आसपास थीं या profit में थीं।
